Dr. Glen R. Burford has been a chiropractor in Collierville, TN since 1986 serving Memphis and surrounding areas.
Education and Experience
A graduate of Middle Tennessee State University in Mufreesboro, Tenn., Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa, and ChiroSecure Allied Professionals Insurance Company, Dr. Burford has worked in the field of chiropractic medicine, physical therapy and spinal rehabilitation for 38 years
Professional Memberships and Certifications
Dr. Burford is a member of the Palmer College of Chiropractic Alumni Association and WISE. He has earned the Advanced Certification of Competency from the Spine Research Institute of San Diego, where he graduated from the Whiplash and Brain Injury Traumatology program.
Specialized Training in Whiplash and Brain Injury Traumatology
As a graduate of the Whiplash and Brain Injury Traumatology program, Dr. Burford was able to participate in the advanced SRISD Scientific Conference, offered only to graduates of the Spine Research Institute of San Diego.
Expert Certification in Whiplash Injuries
Dr. Burford's work at the Spine Research of San Diego earned him the coveted expert certification in the very specialized area of science of whiplash injuries, which requires insight into the physics of crash mechanics and occupant kinematics—or motions resulting from the crash. He is also an expert in the latest whiplash diagnostic methods and treatment approaches to personal injury. The Spine Research Institute of San Diego confers this highest level of certification to only 100 physicians annually.
